The Cost of a Funeral is divided into two parts.
The Funeral Director's Fees, including the coffin selected, and
The Disbursements.
The funeral director will be pleased to discuss financial matters with each family in strict confidence. A full written estimate is offered to all families when arrangements are finalised.
1. The Funeral Director's Fees consists of;
A coffin as selected from our range.
Professional Fees.
Administration Fee.
A fee for preparation, dressing and laying-out of the deceased.
A fee for the transfer of the deceased.
A fee for the hearse and staff for removal.
A fee for the hearse and staff for the funeral.
Use of the funeral home - where required.
The total amount for these services starts at € 3,200 and rises to € 4,100 dependening of the coffin selected by the family.
2. The Disbursements may also be classified as the money paid by the funeral director to third parties on behalf of the family. Examples are as follows;
Church or chapel offerings
Honorarium to the sacristan or sexton
Payment to altar servers
Payment to Soloist
Payment to Musician
Cemetery and crematorium expenses vary between cemeteries. The funeral director will be able to clarify the cost during the arrangement meeting.
The provision of a solid oak temporary grave marker, if required.
Obituary Notices in newspapers. This varies according to the size of the entry.

Mourning Coach. Available for the removal and/or the funeral.
Flowers. -- As each family is different it is not possible to estimate for flowers. Prices range from €45 for a simple wreath to hundreds of Euro for more elaborate displays.
